Placing an order through this website or by email forms a binding purchase agreement between you and BrickAndMotorLabs. All prices are in Canadian dollars (CAD) and include applicable taxes as calculated at checkout. Payment is processed securely by Stripe (credit card, debit card, Interac). We accept Interac e-Transfer by arrangement for local Ottawa orders. An order is confirmed once payment is completed; we may contact you if we cannot fulfil an order (e.g. an item is out of stock), in which case we will refund you in full.
We ship across Canada via Canada Post. Standard delivery estimates are shown at checkout based on your postal code (typically 3–14 business days depending on destination). Local Ottawa orders can be delivered by us in person for a flat $5. Shipping costs are calculated and displayed before you confirm your order. Delivery times are estimates, not guarantees — we'll send tracking information once your order ships.
Changed your mind? Contact us within 14 days of delivery at info@brickandmotorlabs.com and we'll work it out with you — returns are handled case by case (unused kits in original, resalable condition are the easiest to accept). Return shipping is generally at your expense unless the item was faulty when it left us. Any refund is issued to the original payment method once we've received and checked the item.
Every kit is assembled and quality-checked before it ships. If yours arrives damaged or with missing pieces, contact us within 7 days of delivery (a photo helps!) and we'll make it right — replacement parts or a replacement, case by case. If the damage is ours, shipping is on us; otherwise standard shipping rates apply. We stand behind the quality of every kit we ship.
Our kits are designed for builders aged 10+ and contain small parts — a choking hazard for children under 3. Kits with electronic or battery components require adult supervision during setup and use. You confirm the recipient's age at checkout. BrickAndMotorLabs products are educational toys, not regulated consumer vehicles: always wear appropriate protective gear (helmet, gloves, eye protection), follow the included instructions, and observe all local laws when operating any build.
We build in small batches and stock is limited to what is shown on each product page. We may change or discontinue products, update pricing, or stop accepting orders at any time. Product specifications and images are accurate to the best of our knowledge; minor variations between batches are possible.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, BrickAndMotorLabs' total liability for any claim arising from a purchase is limited to the amount you paid for the product in question. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including damage to property or injury resulting from misuse of a product, modification of a product, or use contrary to the included instructions. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under Canadian consumer law.
