What age are your kits suitable for?
Our kits range from ages 3+ to 14+. The simpler Blix Minis line is perfect for ages 3-5, while the more advanced RC and engineering kits are designed for ages 6-14. Each kit page lists the recommended age range.
Do the kits require batteries?
Some kits require batteries (especially the RC kits with motors). Battery requirements are listed on each product page. Most kits use common AA or AAA batteries that are not included.
How do I place an order?
Click the price on any kit to go to our contact page, or email us directly at brickandmotorlabs@gmail.com with the kit name and your shipping address. We will review your order, confirm shipping costs, and send you payment details via email.
Do you ship across Canada?
Yes! We ship across Canada. Shipping costs vary by location. Contact us with your address and we will provide a shipping quote.
What if my kit arrives with missing or broken pieces?
Contact us within 7 days of delivery and we will send replacement parts at no cost. We stand behind the quality of every kit we ship.
Can schools order in bulk?
Absolutely! We offer school and classroom packages. Reach out to us with your requirements and we will work out a custom arrangement.
Are the kits safe for young children?
Yes. All kits are made from non-toxic, certified materials. Kits for ages 3+ do not contain small parts that pose a choking hazard. Older kits may include small pieces and require adult supervision.
Do the kits come with instructions?
Every kit includes a step-by-step illustrated instruction manual. The instructions guide the builder through the process, but kids are encouraged to experiment and rebuild beyond the manual.
Can I return a kit if my child doesn't like it?
Unused kits in original condition can be returned within 14 days for a full refund minus shipping costs. See our shipping page for full return policy details.

Our Blix kits are designed and manufactured in India using high-quality, certified materials. They have been classroom-tested and trusted by educators for years before we brought them to Canada.
